Ylsa Vargas is an Accountant for Saratoga Investment Advisors, LLC, the Company’s investment adviser, and is involved in financial reporting, investment valuation and SOX compliance.
Prior to joining Saratoga, Ms. Vargas worked as an Accounting Manager at GTIS Partners LP, a real estate private equity firm, where she worked on financial reporting for various funds from September 2016 to March 2022. Prior to GTIS, Ms. Vargas also worked as a fund accountant at Augentius US, a private equity fund administrator from September 2014 through October 2016. She began her career at a small CPA firm where she worked two years maintaining books and records of high net worth individuals as well as the initial preparation of tax returns.
Ms. Vargas graduated cum laude with a BA in Accounting from Queens College and earned an MS in the Accounting Graduate Program at Queens College. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
